Results from June 17, 2009 were:
48 HDL
80 LDL
137 total cholesterol
46 triglycerides
When you read my previous post, you'll see that my cholesterol numbers are not significantly changed from when I have been tested in the past, despite the fact that I eat bacon and eggs for breakfast and regularly eat high saturated fat foods such as coconut oil, macadamia nuts, bacon, red meat, and butter. I must be pre-disposed to lower than average cholesterol levels, but I think these numbers prove out the hypothesis that low-carb living does not cause your cholesterol to skyrocket. I'll expand on this writeup when I have more time. Off to go eat some more red meat for dinner.
